Question about cards.
I just bought a pack of Pokemon cards and, well, it came in a little box instead of the foil package, which I thought was strange. I opened it and something about the cards was a little off... I checked them against my other cards and they were the right size and everything, so I figured that it might just be a different printer than the old ones (I don't have any other HG/SS expansions, hehe). I also checked all the cards on Bulbapedia and they all exist and there are no inconsistencies. Something just feels off. ><

Can anyone confirm that the cards are real or fake for me? The pictures on Google images are just not enough to go on for me.

Sorry the pictures are upside-down and stuff. My phone appears to be broken. :B

RE: Question about cards.
If you bought that at a retail store, I'm pretty sure it's legit.

RE: Question about cards.
Excuse me, but i had to edit your post because the pictures were too large and stretched the screen.
I have put the links up instead of the pictures.
Thanks~

RE: Question about cards.
@Zero; Hm, fair enough. I was looking through them more thoroughly and I found a Skarmory with a typo on it. Weird. o.O

@Shaymin; Ah, I'm sorry it stretched the screen. >< It didn't on my screen, not sure why. :c

You probably have a wider screen resolution, lol. And, hm. What's the typo?

It's a typo on the name. It says "Skarmoty". xD

RE: Question about cards.
What was the box that you purchased? was it from the new black and white set or an older set? Cause I recently found some older generation tins at Target for my son and I wasn't sure if they were real or a spin-off...but they are legit.

RE: Question about cards.
the card you posted seems to be alph lithograph as for the little box...... is it a tin? if so it should come with 4 booster packs in it.... if not I'm not sure they don't normally come in "little boxes" :P lol if your asking anout the card itself it seems to be legit if you got it at target or TRU or something it is legit (oh and btw alph lithograph is an extremely rare card xD)

RE: Question about cards.
I'm not sure the card itself seems legit but i have never seen them in boxes like the one you pictured but like the pikachu mafia said I think the place you bought it would help to solve the mystery if they are legit or not. The Misprint however would be rare since you don't find those often.

RE: Question about cards.
I have been watching booster pack openings and I want to get into the tcg but I just think that everyone is ahead of me in pokemon tcg.

RE: Question about cards.
Eh it's not too big of a problem. We're about to have a rotation of sets sometime soon so everyone will be on the same page when it comes to winning decks and such. You could try out some pokemon TCG simulation sites to get in some practice and if you like the deck then you can build it in real life. The hardest part is probably getting enough catchers though. :P
