Alright, so on Pokecheck, if you register your save file to your account, you can clone your Pokemon with no ribbon, but if you delete them, it says they'll become neither public nor private, what's that supposed to mean? Also how do I make a Pokemon private, and what does it mean to associate Pokemon with your account?
When you clone the Pokemon without putting on the ribbon, Pokecheck makes a record of the cloning that's not public so it can't be downloaded but not private so it can be hidden. I think it's done that way so it lets other users know there's probably clones of that particular Pokemon floating around and it provides a record of what this particular Pokemon should look like if someone decides to edit or hack it in some way and then upload it to Pokecheck.
To make a Pokemon private, just click the checkbox under where it says private and then click the "Save private/public status of Pokemon" button.
Associating a Pokemon with your account just means you want to have the Pokemon in your boxes but it's unnecessary if you register your save file because then everything will be placed into the box you specify in the account options.
