Teams / Alliances on GTS - Avia - 03-06-2010 06:43 PM http://www.pokemongts.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=246 We have a place again for Clans / Teams / Alliances. However, it's much simpler than what we had before. Anyone can start one, and they're only entitled to one thread. Unlike the Wi-Fi or Shoddy teams, we will not be supporting these in an official GTS way by allowing an "Icon" be displayed along with the posts. The leader of each team can just create a thread and title it much like this: Team ABC's Thread Thanks. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Human - 03-06-2010 06:59 PM cool, though i miss the idea of team icons i can see why it wouldn't work. what with the wifi icons and all. should be cool to see what teams get made RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - RipsterZero - 03-06-2010 07:00 PM If you want team icons you can always put them in your signatures or avatars. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Human - 03-06-2010 07:07 PM with the avatar size being raised it's possible to make a banner and still cram in an avatar. it could work RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - iShadow - 03-06-2010 07:09 PM Ah this is an interesting concept.. So one question we just make the thread? No approval of sort? RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Avia - 03-06-2010 07:11 PM Nope, it's just a "housing" for existing clans/teams. That's pretty much the idea. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - iShadow - 03-06-2010 07:18 PM (03-06-2010 07:11 PM)Avia Wrote: Nope, it's just a "housing" for existing clans/teams. Ooooh, Alrighty then. xD. Also do the threads count towards the post count? Because I can see those threads getting very spammy in the future. o.o RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Zetsumei - 03-06-2010 07:21 PM (03-06-2010 07:18 PM)iShadow Wrote: Also do the threads count towards the post count? No, they do not.

I am done with my questions for the night. xD. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - LuckyStar - 03-09-2010 07:45 PM I don't really get the icon and thread thing. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Human - 03-10-2010 06:29 PM see how my post has two different icons on the left? the one with the shiny ninetails is the icon that everyone has. you can usually swap it out for a few different looks. the next one is the wifi team icon. its for people who are in a wifi team. previously with the old teams they were allowed to make a team icon that all members could have but its not gonna be a feature this time. ok so i was wondering if there would be any kind special infraction for something similar to team leader skipping? RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - LuckyStar - 03-12-2010 09:55 PM Yeah!!!!!!!! Me too! RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Valkenhayn - 03-13-2010 02:58 PM Aww, so if i create a team, i won't be able to have a "Team Icon/Rank" under my avatar anymore? )= RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Avia - 03-13-2010 03:21 PM (03-13-2010 02:58 PM)Valkenhayn Wrote: Aww, so if i create a team, i won't be able to have a "Team Icon/Rank" under my avatar anymore? It's possible he meant above his avatar, and in that case no. You still get to keep your team icon/rank

No, these are unofficial and unsupported by us. If your Team/Alliance thread becomes inactive, then it will just drop down the list. RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Human - 03-26-2010 07:57 PM ok, thanks for clearing that up for me RE: Teams / Alliances on GTS - Jamillionare - 03-27-2010 12:05 PM i like this |
