 | Woah, I didn't expect this. Just visited Serebii and, BAM. It appears that info has been leaked on the 3rd Edition of D/P.
Before I go on, I'd like to state that this is not official info and that it isn't 100% confirmed.
I can't copy and paste at the moment, due to being on a Wii, so I'll summarise what news has been leaked.
- Pokemon Platinum Version
- Set for September Release
- Giratina Box Art
- Volkner is no longer Gym Leader of Sunyshore City
- The underground is now wifi enabled
- A new island, called Battle Island, has been added, and will work in the same manner as the Battle Frontier
- Several new forms of Pokemon will appear in the game: Giratina's Origin Form, Regigigas' Sky Form, and Shaymin's Other Form
- Both Giratina's and Regigigas' 2nd Forms are said to be able to get the ability, Levitate
- Shaymin's Other Form may be part Ice Type
Screenshots that support this new game have shown up in the new Corocoro magazine.
A page in the magazine reveals Pokemon Platinum, a picture of Giratina in it's origin form, and a Blue character seems to be standing infront of Origin Giratina's Shadow, showing the possibility of a new costume for the main character. Aside from this, there seems to be a new battling interface too.
So that's it. And remember, this is not official and isn't 100% confirmed.
The forms in the game should coincide with the movies, and it seems that Regigigas is yet another Pokemon with a new form.
We know that both Regigigas and Shaymin appear in the next Pokemon movie.
The 'bouquet' in the movie title seems to represent Shaymin, while, with the new info on Regigigas, the 'sky' part of the movie seems to be represented by Regigigas.
