I just recently started recording my battles. 2 days ago to be exact. It does get distracting though in interferes with my concentration.

here is my profile link http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Prideless

I add Commentaries in each video in why I made the moves I did. (Posted)

Here are my first 2 recorded battles. The second battle jesus christ he gave me quite the run. I havent had a battle like that in ages. I learned my lesson from the first battle and feinted him quite a few times. mwuhahahaha!

The first battle was around 18mins and the 2nd battle was around 45mins!

Lol, good battle.
Ok the rematch... why the heck did he used a EQ many times at a Skamory....?

-___-

Amateur.
Common misconception. Steel < Ground. He forgets that Skarmory is also Flying.
Rikusaki Wrote:Common misconception. Steel < Ground. He forgets that Skarmory is also Flying.

U have got to be kidding me Riku... u think that guy didnt know Skarm was flying? he made gambles trying to predict my moves which acted like a double edged sword because I was one step ahead of him in the important switches.

Dude this guy is nuts I havent had such an exciting battle for a long time. He knows what hes doing and hes no amateur.

did u read the commentaries? hes not an amateur Id have to say hes at my level or better. He uses much more complex team then me.

If I was in his position I would have spammed Earthquake as well on Skarmory.

He tried to predict my move two steps ahead.
He had to spam EQ.

The only threat I had left on my team was Garchomp, if I switched in my garchomp it would have ate an EQ and die and I would have lost the match.

Slowly think about it. I have a scarfed garchomp in the yellow if it died I would have had Vaporeon and Skarm left? he would have sealed the deal by killing it.

This is the first match anyone has put so much pressure on me into thinking and foreseeing ahead.

I dont think u guys noticed but he feinted me several times by bringing in Donphan and he tried to predict I was going to bring in Skarm and he immediatly switches to Magnezone to Magnet Pull me, luckily I thought stupid and he was going to shard me so I busted out Vaporeon.

Count how many switches are in this match compared to an average match, I guarantee you its several times more switching. We both were trying to read the others next move. Which ended up in a huge switch roundabout.

My battles with -Z- back in the day and Tama werent even this intense.

Id have to say that battle is one of the most nerve racking and intense battles I ever had. It was only 5mins long in the video but it was really 45mins. I sped it up a lot.

The average battle is around 20-30mins. This one was double the length.

I really dont see how he is an amateur a guy with guts to leave his Tyranitars neck out front of gengar is either just plain stupid or he knows what hes doing. He thought I was going to use something other than Focus Blast because he thought that I thought he was going to switch. but he didnt and killed it.

-EDIT

It was hard as silly to keep that Magnezone away from my Skarmory. When he switched it I switched right out. I kept that Magnet Pull at bay by predicting a step ahead he got me though by me roaring it in -_-

Ah okay. Rikusaki, anyways the rematch was a living silly >__>

I am sorry if it seemed I was dising u or something. let me take it back.

-EDIT Again

How can a Tyranitar eat a Grass Knot and live?
How can an Aerodactyl eat a Thunderbolt and live?

He practically harnessed the Sandstorm ability that I didnt know about.

Sandstorm raises Rock Pokemon's SP DEF by 1.5

Aint that nuts?

Maybe I should slow it down so you guys can notice the little things this guy does.

Like he knew I was going to use Focus Blast on Magnezone and switched in Garchomp w/Sand Veil lowering the acc below 70...

Now that is what I call using the sand veil effectively on moves that dont have 100% Acc.

Heres a trick to counter Rapid Spin, bring out a ghost pokemon and they wont be able to remove Stealth Rock and Spikes hehe.

You do know I haven't watch the full length of the vid. right? I just watched 20 seconds of your "rematch".
goood battles pride. i think i learned something. and learning is half the battle.
I'm a bit envious of that battle, Prideless. All of the battles I've fought on GTS haven't had any strategy, just "Oh, I think I'll use Earthquake. Yeah. That's strong. Maybe it might hit."

The fact that the guy was even thinking ahead of you was simply brilliant. Must of been a lot of fun.
now those are the battles I like to watch, nice ones. I would add battles, but i dont have a cam Sad
I think what gave u an edge is the stealth rock. It may have not been big, but it did something. At one point he coudnt afford to switch his aerodactyl in and out after a while. With both of u constintly switching he eventually fell apart. I was suprised his garchomp didnt have a spc fire att 4 skrm, my old chomp had fireblast just for taking out skarm.

I know of a guy on youtube who tells u what he does in the battle if u look up mtgxerxes on youtube his battles will pop up. They are very usefull. I hope u dont mind if i put a tag 4 1 on here.

his opponent thinks ahead real well especially w/ his spiritomb.
Try to stick with your own videos. Mostly the ones that occur here, thanks.
here is my uber battle with brandon also known as bgarcia here at pokemongts!

I would like to thank my couz for letting me borrow his hacked pokes!

-EDIT

I posted here for you.
Rikusaki Wrote:Common misconception. Steel < Ground. He forgets that Skarmory is also Flying.

maybe he was trying to predict a roost?
good point. Most people dont know it. But roost makes you vulnerable to ground attack for that turn only

ah yes mtgxerxes I watched like 2 of his videos and I learned a lot from that guy. Tama talks to him on youtube I believe. He hosted a tourney to and its still going I think, Tama lost the first round lol I probably would have to. Glare

Yep Stealth Rock is always good to help wither your opponent down, although I had to set it up again because he Rapid Spinned it.

Sulla Wrote:good point. Most people dont know it. But roost makes you vulnerable to ground attack for that turn only

You have got to be effin me Roost makes ur vulnerable to EQ?!

Wow I had no idea that really helps thanks a lot. Now I know how to fight against a skam hehe.

I really dont think he was trying to predict a roost though, my skarm was much in the green, he definitely was hoping for me to make a switch.

Sulla, Massimo where did u guys learn about all these minor details.

Like I didnt know Sandstorm bumps up SP Def.

Is there a site or something?

That rematch was actually the first time I actually had to think that much ahead of my opponent, especially with that stupid Magnezone in play, had to keep that crap away from Skarm. Glare
I made some stupid moves by trying to predict ahead. I Shadowballed Tyranitar Sad , Switched in Vaporeon on a Physical Lucario Bored... bleh

It was fun in terms of pressure and how nerve racking it was xD
This battle of yours with dark and rematch were great!

it was intense!

You're both predicting what pokemon will be drawn out and then it's just like you're chasing each other in circles!

i know how hard it is!

its frustrating right??
Lol wow, that was a funny uber battles renzo.

Like the background music instead of some annoying battle music, lol.
Prideless...i learn all those little things from trail and error...i was like well hes gunna roost so where does that leabve me. birds need to sit to roost and u cant sit in the air...EQ pwned.
i may kno some stuff and what not but lemme tell you im really lacking in the battle department i really need some serious practice, i can put together nice teams and good movesets but meh.
Only way to learn massimo is by actually battling. Lets go!
