Global Trade Station

im just new to this trade pokemon.. im playing the platinum version for like 3 days now.. and i got a ekans here in the site, a donation, but it does not show on my pokedex, when i see the summary at the pokemon it say: pokedex no. ???

why i cant see the number? or the ekans on the pokedex?

Anyway, the answer to your question is that you need the national dex for it to show up, as in the platinum pokedex, Ekans isn't there because Ekans isn't one you'd usually find in the game until you get the national dex.
