I have some trading cards from the original lot, including all the pokemon, trainer cards, energy cards and all the shinys available in that set. I also have some of the Team Rocket ones that came out not long afterwards, including shiny Dark Charizard and the shiny energy card. Now, do I sell them now while Pokemon is still pretty popular, or do I wait and see if they become like a collectors item in about 40 years time. Keeping in mind they might become worthless in 40 years, instead of becoming priceless.
Depends on how much they're worth at the moment. I would sell them now (since the market's decent), but it's really up to you. Maybe hold onto them until the release of Black and White?
