Question: How do I get Pokemon here?

Question: I can't send a Private Message, why?

You require 3 non-spam posts before you can send one. The error message may say 2 as a glitch, but it's actually 3.


Question: When I try to post, it says my post has been detected as spam?

For users with 3 posts or less, any of these words can be picked up as spam & block you from posting:

Spam, spam, Waste, waste, Wasting, wasting, Post, post, Count, count, HOW, DO, POST, Times, times, TIMES

Note that these words are case sensitive. If the word above is written in caps, it will only be detected as spam if it is written in caps.


Question: How do I change my group icon? Such as:



This is a common question that is easily answered.

Step 1: Move your mouse over the "Forums" tab on the top navigation bar
Step 2: Select "Join Public Groups".
Step 3: Join the group you wish, then scroll down to set it on your display.

Question: How do I change my Trainer Status?

This is another common question that is, again, very easily answered.

Step 1: Go to User CP.
Step 2: On the side menu, you'll see a link to Edit Profile. Click it.
Step 3: Editing comes in the form of different drop boxes, with titles like Trainer Selection and First Pokemon etc.

Question: How do I get my friend code into my signature?

Rather simply.

Step 1: Go to User CP
Step 2: On the side menu, you'll see a link to Edit Profile. Click it.
Step 3: You'll see a drop down menu's and text boxes. Read the titles and it's really not that hard.

NOTE: If you've filled all this out, and it's still not appearing, it's because you need at least one character of text within your signature for it to appear.

For those who simply do not understand, even after reading such a simple guide, you can click the follow text that, using System Op magic, leads to your User Profile.

Questions about IRC Chat Rooms & Chat Boxes

Since there's so many, I've complied them all into one section.

A) Does GTS have a chat room/box?

No, it doesn't.

B) Can you install a chat room/box?

Technically yes, we have the capabilities to install one. Will we? No.

C) Why won't you install a chat room/box

We tried it out, and had one for a short while, but it didn't work out. People didn't use it for what it was originally put in for, and it was generally more trouble to moderate and take care of than any chat room should be.

D) Can you try again?

No. Certainly not.
