thats interesting, i defeated Primal Dialga on second try with those exact same pokemon...i dont remember what i did, but i suggest bringing a bunch of vile and violent seeds to lower his defense to rock bottom and raise your attack to the max. i also suggest bringging a bunch of sleep and stun seeds, and mabey some totter seeds as well. this is optional, but it might be a good idea to bring some reviver seeds too. if you need some missions to get these items, visit this site to create your own missions and get as many of the items as you need: http://apointlessplace.net/wms/wmgenerate.html
here is the strategy for using the items:
first, when you enter the battle,get in front of him and throw a stun seed(this does not wear off until you attack).then use a violent seed on both you and your partner.then throw a vile seed at dialga.(i also suggest that after you throw the stun seed that you go as far back as possible, then throw the vile seed.) after you throw the vile seed, go as close to him as possible and throw a sleep seed at him. then use your best attack on him until he wakes up or faints(he'll probably faint though).if he wakes up, throw another sleep seed.
btw: it might not hurt to get some golden seeds too, to raise you pokemons levels to 100, unless you dont want to, i didnt need to though. i hope this helps if you still need to beat him.also, riolu being part fighting, you may want to teach him a powerful fighting move like focus blast(if he doesnt already know it)considering dialga is part steel and fighting is super effective agenst it, and then you add the vile and violent seeds, and dialga is toast.
