I believe it was said that the tamplate that was given was somewhat of a guide line, to make life easier, or a basic idea of what it should kind of look like, for the picture, go crazy :P. Am I correct? I only see me and another person that didn't use the template, it would really suck if it had to be those templates specificly. I don't quite understand what you are talking about "auto program to make it for you" I just want to make sure that the card style was ok, or if I have to remake it with one of those templates

by auto program it means that they used a program that generates the card for you... like just say you upload a image and set the hp etc. then it puts it all on a card automatically.

Wow that's so lame that's soo cheating
There's always a better touch to those that make it from their own art, the contest is to show primarily creativity, and I don't think there's a lot of that from using a card making site.
i drop out. my parents wont let me get it signed.
Damn, I really liked your entry too.

I agree. I made this in five minutes using a site:

However, the one I made took four to five HOURS.

Now see, in a contest like this, that one wouldn't get very many points. Since it looks too official card-like, very uncreative.
Mines looking pretty sick so far xD

This contest now has officially ended.

We will be judging the entries soon & announcing the winner in a day or two.

Please be sure to get your entry form waivers submitted if you haven't yet, you will be disqualified if you're declared as the winner without the form submitted.

But is there something wrong with the official card look? The templates all seem to follow it and the prizes do include Official Pokemon TCG products. I'm just a bit defensive of it since I spent a lot of time in Photoshop cutting, layering, and blending scanned images to get the look as near-Official as I could. I know the Pokemon was the creative portion of my entry, but the official card-look took nearly 3 hours and thats on top of the 3 hours for creating and shading the vector art in Illustrator. *blush* I hope it shows...
Dang, I really wish I could have entered this. I've been trying to get the paper to scan, but it just wouldn't work. I had my card made and everything.
I've just received my laptop and started to do graphics myself. Gutted to misout. But theres always the next comp:)

There's still a creativity difference, since you created your own Eevee evolution.

I checked, the link downloads just fine.

And no, I can't do that.

Private Messaging doesn't have any file attachments, so I'd be just sending you the same link.

Try opening it from a different web browser.
Uh... that is the prob... I can only use my nana's computer and she doesn't let me download ANYTHING...
id just like to say good luck to every one that entered..
