Here's our October 31st event:

Beginning at aprox. 12:00AM Pacific time, October 31st - a large swarm of Gastly will infect & rule the forum.

Help us capture Gengar & Gengar's minions!



For each encounter/capture, an automatic notification is sent to me.

The users to capture the most will win prizes.

Throughout the day the swarms will be updated.


HOW TO CAPTURE!?

The Gastly's will be hiding in threads!
FIND THEM, HUNT THEM!

They can be in any thread. The swarms are randomized.

You just open threads, it's either you find them or you don't. They appear on top of threads if you find them.

However, there will be times in the day where the swarms die down. I will re-randomize it when it gets low or none are left.

And just in case people are wondering, once the Gastly is caught, it's gone from the thread.
So don't waste time telling people where you caught it.

This is why I need to keep randomizing it, otherwise we'd run out of Gastly's ;O

Not really, but you can imagine yourself as Gastly food, I don't mind.

So does this mean you're going to be watching the computer for 24 hours strait so you can click where the next ghastly goes? O.o

it sounds pretty fun, and yes i do see getting eaten by a gastly fun

No, that's not how it works.

I already randomized a set amount of threads that will contain Gastly's.

I will be back several hours later, after some sleep, to check how many are left. If it's low or none left at all, I will randomize another large set of threads.

Then check back in again a few hours later, and etc until the event is done.

Yes, I said any threads.
From the very first forum's thread to the latest.

But a large chunk of them are more-so recent.

Should anyone run into older ones, there are infected ones out there. Muahhahha

Hmm... so according to my calculations, it starts 4:00 PM in Japan. This sounds fun. I wasn't here last year so I can't judge against last year, but it sounds really great. Wow, this site never ceases to amaze me.
