It's a rough idea, the "Final" round won't just be 1 round, it's just a placement to show roughly how we want it to work.

Sounds good, how will the teams be decided though? and will this be a one time event or will it be on-going, with seperate leagues for different player skills levels?

This will be seasonal.
4 times a year.

And we will have a "Hall of Fames" page added, to record all winners.

Then this isn't for them. The original idea behind the clans were battling. It just eventually slipped towards a different direction.
We still have a Breeders group, and a badge they can obtain.

Seasonal is good, though I think that there should be some regulation in terms of teams and skill levels. A team consisting of people like hang and fish, who are well known, seasoned veteran battlers would destroy a brand new team of fresh faces (statistically speaking, of course).

So I supose some Team Leaders (Macle, Hang, Fish-E) are going to choose the battlers for their teams.

Or they are the New Dream Team

Oh I should mention, Shoddy is forbidden here. You must battle with your DS & game cartridge.

Hang just informed me many of you don't actually own the game.

So we'll play it by ear, during registration everyone will be required to state what they can use.

The problem is, we can't support both the game AND shoddy.
Because not everyone will have both.
So it has to be either one.

In all honesty though, I think some should be split. For example, I'd completely destroy any one of my RL friends who play pokemon 6-0 because they don't know about EVs and things like that, and even those that do, they don't know how the metagame works and they can't predict my moves. I wouldn't put myself in the same league as them, it wouldn't be fair to them, cause they wouldn't be able to beat me. Now, on here, I'm more likely to be the one being beaten 6-0 rather than beating others 6-0, but that's a moot point.
