okay, I feel no one is posting on the tcd threads.
Anyway.....well, eh, here is my current deck.
Yes, it is different then the glacea-dos theme deck and the gyarados centered theme deck.
This deck uses gyarados and kingdra.

STRATEGY:
Kingdra can definitely support it's own deck, let's see if he can support gyarados. Kingdra's 1-1-1 line is certainly not a problem; with bebe's searches, Luxury ball, Quck ball, TM TS-1, lots of drawing power (magikarp's sea spray, manaphy and corsola, cynthia's feelings, etc.) I am in complete control of my deck. I get out gyarados of SF, and start dragon Beating asap. Manaphy and corsola are there for saving benched pokemon; when I look through my deck, I will check to see where my benched pokemon are. If I don't find a horsea/kingdra/seadra, I will use corsola or manaphy to summon azelf, who will use time walk to get it from the prizes, then be super scoop up'ed until I need it again.
The reason for 4 night maintanence is that magikarp don't live long. they normally die, so I use night maintanence to save them, then get out gyarados.
IMO, i have a weakness to luxray decks. My counter is to snipe them before they start up luxray with kingdra. If not, I will tail revenge them with gyara, because I'm sure atleast 1 of my karps will die against luxio/shinx/luxray. I will use the same strategy with raichu Level X.
I don't have an issue with gengar decks, dragon pump gengar to death.
Machamp decks are slowed down by gyara's 20- weakness to fighting, and gyara OHKO's machamp (using it's no gaurd thing) with dragon beat, though it will take a while to set up.
Kingdra swarm decks: Gyarados will not fall easily with 130 hp, and horsea can only 3HKO magikarp, which, in three turns, will hopefully find something useful with sea spray.
i have a problem with damage spreading decks. Magikarp are weak, so I have to evolve them fast, or risk losing. Manaphy can help somewhat, supplying new pokemon, but in the end it will end up weird.
Corsola, with it's rally attack, will normally find:
1 manaphy/azelf(if I do have horsea and seadra and kingdra in my deck not as prize cards, then manaphy, if not, azelf) 1 magikarp (either MT or SF, depending on the game) and one other corsola. Manaphy will also attack, and horsea can stand it's own with a somewhat good 50 hp, and smokescreen saving it from attacks hopefully. In this way, each of my pokemon has a self preservation tactic. Except magikarp.
Please rate, critique, etc.
