Yeah I have a shiny female Meganium if I breed it with my male regular Torterra will there be a chance of the baby Turtwig or Chicorita being a shiny like the mommy Meganium or regular like the daddy Torterra and can they even have kids
the chances of getting a shiny should be the same as trying to find one in the wild so if u wanted to find a shiny egg you'd have yo breed alot

Yeah but It'd be hard to find a shiny starter and if I use Ditto it would be a male more often

no that was only in gold,silver,and crystal and there wouls be a 50% out of 100% of being shiny
actually, if a shiny breeds with a non-shiny, then their is as high as a 1/64 chance of being shiny. or so I have read.
No, the chance is the same as in the wild 1/8,191 (I thinks that's right) Which explains the reason why I never found/hatched one.
