Ok, I just got a 360 and about 200 USD I can spend on games.
What are the best games to buy right now? And my mom lets
me get M rated games so that isn't a problem.
Halo 3 for sure. Grand Theft Auto 4. Gears of War 2.
How much do those cost each? $60?
About 60 or 70 each. If you only choose one. I suggest Halo 3.
If you get 2, Halo 3 and GTA4.
If you plan on playing on line I suggest buying around 2000-3000 MSP and a few months for online subscription

Call of Duty 4, if you want one of the strongest online shooters out there.
Halo 3 has a fairly good story if you've followed the series, and some of the campaign missions are a lot of fun.
If you'd be interested in a Sci-Fi Action RPG with a pretty nice story, get Mass Effect. I'm currently on my second time through.
But, also keep the Xbox Live Arcade in mind. There are a LOT of quality games there for $5-$10 if you have access to Xbox Live (even on just a free Silver account) and a hard drive. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Heavy Weapon, Ikaruga, Soul Calibur, etc.
Word to the wise - get your games used from someplace, like Gamestop. And here's my list: Halo 3, Grand Theft Auto 4, (maybe get Bully: Scholarship Edition while you're at it. Seemed pretty fun on PS2.) Call of Duty 4. Get some MSP, and a year of Live Gold. Bang for buck.
yeah i heard CoD 4 is like the best online shooter. especially the new airstrikes and helicopters you can call in.
