Ok ive been going around with a really powerful Pikachu (at least more powerful than most other pikachus, pichus, and Raichus). So ive decided to share how to get a powerful pikachu like mine.

ok first you need to IV breed a Pikachu to get a new pichu. then fly to Veilstone City and use 10 carbos and 10 Sp. atk vitamins. after that you pichu should gain good stats speed and sp atk.(you could also use protien for physical attacks like brick break and volt tackle)

Next attach a soothe bell and Lv. up until your pichu evolves into pikachu. then attach a light ball to your pikachu. then EV train your pikachu in Sp. Atk, Speed and/or Attack. after that just train your pikachu to Lv. 100 and if you want to see if your pikachu is any good agains others, challenge me to what i call a Pikachu Battle and if you can get my pikachu into the yellow zone with a V-tackle or thunderbolt, then you've trained it well.

Why would you train a Pikachu in defense? It makes no sense. A Pikachu's main asset is it's speed and whilst holding light ball, which doubles SpAttk and Attk, it can make a decent but fragile Mix Sweeper. EV's in defense would make it less effective.

if you higher defense. it can withstand earthquake sometimes. and the speed is already pretty high so it would be safe to lower it. trust me i know how i trained my pikachu and it one of the most superior pikachu's on this site. if you dont believe me. get your pikachu and ill battle you now.

Lol, I don't happen to train Pikachu's, but I'd make one on Shoddy for you. You reckon it could withstand an EQ? No chance, it can hardly withstand any hits. Let me show you Pikachu's base stats.

HP: 35
Attack: 55
Defense: 30
Special Attack: 50
Special Defense: 40
Speed: 90

What is the only decent stat there? Speed.

I rest my case.

PS: The nature you're looking for is Relaxed.

Sorry dude but Hang is right i battled a pikachu before and it didn't even last long it was trained in defence and i took it out with 1 Earthquake.

The chances of a pikachu withstanding an earthquake with or without is very small. Also Pikachu needs all the speed it can get since that is the only decent stat it has speed.

I'm confused. Why would you keep it as a Pikachu instead of evolving it to a Raichu?

Light Ball doubles Pikachu's attacking stats, thats the only real reason.
