Okay guys, I've asked Avia to create this forum because I feel it would be very cool for those of us who either work on system modifications or intend to start. This forum will cover hardware and software mods. It obviously follows the same rules as every other forum here, but with some exceptions.

Rules/Suggestions:
~DO NOT tackle mods that are far beyond your experience unless you feel like you can follow directions well enough or have someone to help you. If you are a first time modder and want to try something you see here, just keep your level of experience in mind. If something requires modifying the motherboard or soldering of any type, get some experience with that on broken units before attempting on a working unit.
~If you decide to mod your system, especially if it's an internal mod, be prepared to lose any sort of warranty you have left on it. And don't think you can easily fool the manufacturer. For example, Sony puts stickers on PS2 units that have to be broken in order to open the system, so they'll be able to tell.
~If a particular mod goes horribly wrong and your unit ceases to function, DO NOT come back here and expect us to pay for repairs or replacements just because you saw the mod here. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO ANYTHING YOU'VE TRIED TO MOD. If you still try to hold us responsible, you will be banned.

Having said this, I'd like to encourage everyone here who has done something special with their systems to contribute pictures, walkthroughs, and even websites where parts can be found, to help people out. I want this to be an extremely fun forum here on PokemonGTS 001_smile
