With all the renewed interest in the MGS series, I decided to go back and replay this game. I didn't quite notice how brilliant this game was! I love the camo system, despite criticism. The bosses are spectacular as is the story.
Anyone want to discuss?
I have completed this game like 5 times and I never get tired of it. I thought it was pretty much the more realistic game of the series. I loved the camos, the fact that you had to hunt for food to survive and healing yourself.
I was slightly disappointed with the second Metal Gear but this game really brought me back.
The introduction of Eva for me was the best thing as well as The Boss but I enjoyed a lot how they made fun of Raiden. He was a constant joke in that series.
My only complain is that with the exception of the Fear the other battles were fairly easy. I didn't have trouble especially since I discovered you can kill The End before the battle you have with him. Not battling The End is awesome since the battle as a whole is a little bit annoying.
I loved the End's battle because it's so open, and I like the thought that he could be anywhere. Although, on whatever the hardest difficulty is, he totally kills me in ten seconds! I was like screw this! and I set met PS2 clock ahead 10 days. xD
MGS3 was by far my favorite because of it implemented survival, strategy, and just all around awesome bosses. With the fact that you had to hunt it was almost like a commando Cabelas game.

I killed him once by stamina and it was so hard. I just wanted the Sniper they give you if you kill him by stamina. It wasn't really a good sniper, but oh well...
My favorite part is Snake's nightmare. I love playing the little game.Everytime I get to the torture part I save so I can play it.

I tried to kill her with the rockets but I never hit her. >(

When I get to him when I'm replaying it this time, there's a code that makes him appear on Radar. I'll just do that and hold him up.
Im replaying in right now and the part where Eva beats the crap out of Ocelot an runs his face over with a motorcycle, yeah, well i didnt know it but I shot Ocelot with a shotgun while he was knocked out and it said Time paradox and the screen froze for a second, and then i laughed because of all the references they make to ocelot , like when snake stop eva from shooting him and says hell regret it, which he would regret it in MGS2
At the end of MGS4, though, Ocelot ultimately does more good than evil.
Do you have it and beaten it? Or did you just read about it. Im trying to save up 185 dollars so i can split the expense with my dad. Im really mad that he wont just go and get one now. He said he was going to but he pretty unreliable and im going crazy right about now.
I have it and have beaten it. It's worth the money.
NOTE: Ocelot being good in the end is only my opinion. You must think about what he does and if it was really good or bad.
