Hello all,
Due to storage limits on our new server, and the Random Threads containing the most posts, we decided to discontinue them for the time being.
And no, they are not gone forever. They are temporarily backed up to free up space on the server to prevent downtime issues.
We will be looking to upgrade the server to a larger plan, but that will be a bit later in the future.

Um.... Can I just ask didn't we just move to a new server so we could have more posts e.t.c?
As we are getting rid of the Random Discussion thread which was just a replacement for the battle chat will we get that back as it takes up less space.

Actually no, we moved to a server that gave us more loading power.
And thus, no more "CPU Usage" errors. Unfortunately a trade off is space.
The Battle Chat will be take into consideration again, as a solution.
Permission to shout yes get in there.

Well that is a little disapointing
Random Discussion gives us a little speck of freedom for most things, but well if it takes too much up then that's that. Battle Chat would help a lot though if it was brought back.

No, it does not.
All rules still applied to it, and staff are against it because it was out of control, making it difficult to moderate. That, might have gave you guys the slip on the rules in there.
But because it was out of control, the posts dramatically increased on it everyday, and thus - took up server space severely.
Rules and policy apply to everything.

Remember how many times I edited posts and told people to stop fighting? Countless.
Well can't we have, if we get Battle Chat back, can't we have a Free Chat or something? Board Rules don't apply, something in that range, if it comes back. I mean I don't mean a place to go and flame Staff members or anything, but just in general. Well nvm could I guess words travel, when one person says something about another. But Random Discussion was still fun, maybe a litte out of control, but not always.
You even threatened to close it.
Are you also getting rid of the ban thread Jadvia as that is almost as popular.
