Hatched and yes.
Unless clones are now considered illegitimate. That's why the event didn't occur until now, I couldn't get the timing right, then I got frustrated and gave up for a little while.
And before you ask, I have two DS's and Two games. Pearl is my breeder cart used mainly for breeding site event Pokémon, hence the OT of your new Pokémon. Diamond is my main play cart.

Nonononono, I don't approve of hacking. Cloning and acquiring these little buggers took a good long while.
I used to have boxes upon boxes of the "Failed" hatchings.
