I was looking through my major gaming news source and came across an interview with Sire Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy VII Series. When asked about seeing cloud again he said that, we may see him in a FF VII remake for the PS3!! The interview was in French so I can't give much of other details that he gave. So do you guys believe this or was he just playing games with the fans?

This has been rumoured for...ooh, about 6 years, and a graphical remake of the FF7 Intro FMV was one of the technical demos for the Ps3 at E3 if I remember correctly. The likelihood? Minimal. But we can remain in hope.
If it was FF8 & 9 however...I might be a little more enthusiastic!
Though Square-Enix repeatably said that they will not release a remake of Final Fantasy VII for the Playstation 3, people's minds change and I hope this new Final Fantasy VII projects brings in the audiences we had lost with the newer Final Fantasy franchises and spin-offs.
Shamfrit The Narroq, I disagree, in my opinion Final Fantasy VIII was one of the worst games in the franchise by far. On the other hand, Final Fantasy IX was an underrated masterpiece!
