Do you guys just want this whole idea to fail?
I mean, any time any one of us has posted some sort of event or competition, we get:
A.) A lot of interest but a very tiny turnout
B.) Not a lot of interest, and even less of a turnout
C.) Nothing at all
I really have to wonder if this is just a failure. Why is this having more trouble than it should be guys? Tell me, because honestly I'm confused and REALLY frustrated. I created this as not only a reward for members who are well behaved and follow the rules, but also as a chance for a lot of fun with other gamers.
Anyone want to help me out here?
Well somehow the members of this site always lose interest in the middle of a competition. Like the official battle tournament. It has failed in the semi-final.
The thing is, we need more active members since in competition some says they're in but then go offline.
Sorry if I'm not helping with it but I have wi-fi issues...
Most of the members are not yet mature to bear the idea of comittment, or the event or competition do not offer enough to the member or it isn't interesting, or it could be as something as simple as real-life committments that suddenly comes up.
I think its cause many have many things to do.Playing on systems means leaving the site to a tv, which means distance from computers. Also many don't have systems like the PS3, PSP, Xbox 360. They're here for pokemon not other games. The Idea is great, I loved it and want to make it grow but its up to the members to join and play.
Also like Ricktendo said most people aren't active a lot. Most people are only online for at least 2 hours. The site is quietly going down the drain.
I want to make an event for PS3 but there isn't a lot of people with one T_T
Well if i didn't help out its ok, I'm just stating thoughts here.

I can understand last minute obligations, but after the first 360 event failed, only
two of the members who were supposed to be involved actually replied to say why they couldn't be there. It's rather rude to say you'll do something, and then be absolutely nowhere to be found during said event, and then worse to not even say anything about it.

No, what you said was fine. I'm looking for thoughts here.
Also, the fact that most of the registered members are under the age of ten, a side-effect of this site being a Pokemon site. If this site were a "global" Gaming site, which will probably attract more mature audiences, the GTSGL would have been a major sucess. (given that if this site were a "global" Gaming site, and it would have the same amount of registered members.)
Note: I have not seen a completely sucessful Gaming event or competition (including Pokemon) here to date.
I've added a poll. Please cast your vote.
Crazy is right. This site is meant for pokemon. Also like Crazy said most of the members re the age of 10 not a lot of them will have these expensive systems. Also most of these online games are rated T-M which means many members won't have it. Since the average age is 10.
Also like crazy said this site isn't a "global" gaming station. Which means there will be at lot less members in this. One more thing, these online systems like the 360. Need a subscription which = paying which not many can do.
EDIT: you should add a maybe. I don't know if this should be closed right away.

What does age has to do with all this?
I don't know a member under 10. And even if they were it wouldn't change much. After all this is a website fit for any ages. It's only most of us are 13-20.
Rick most people lie about their age

i know some members how do. But I'll keep that on the DL.
But age does have to do with this are you gonna play an online shooter at the age of 12? Probably but not in front of your parents. Since most of these new systems use HD. Which means they might use their living room HD tv. I know I do
