Meet what is soon to become... The Choice Band Magmortar. It might sound crazy but I think it can work. A few notes:
1.DO NOT SUGGEST FLARE BLITZ! I can't get it
2. I'm clueless on IVs and most of my EVs.

You would need a + atk nature. Serious won't cut it. The move set is good. In ways that is. I would have to see for myself., but I higly doubt it will work. To many people have physical walls and Magmotar is not a real wall breaker. SP atk would be much better for it. IMO
magmar/magorter are a special sweeper
so moves should be
thunderbolt
flamethrower
psychic
will-o-wisp
I think its good the moveset and everything and also serious nature is not bad and its not good it doesn't affect anything so you do need one that boost attack but if you cant get another one this one will do. IMO
I already have a Lv100 Modest Specs Magmortar, I just created this thing to see how it would do. I'm also thinking about a special Electivire, but I like Magmortar more so I bred it first.
i think you could give it something other than return but from what i know you will probably replace it with earthquak
Special Vire works
Magmortar could work. 95 Base Atk + CB is nothing to sneer at. However, Blaziken or Infernape do it better especially with the STAB'd fighting moves. I suggest you go special with Lava Plume, Thunderbolt, Cross Chop and Mach Punch/Hidden Power Ice
Mach Punch would go well on a Choice Band set. As would focus punch if you predict right. Or EQ?

Problem is, Mortar's too slow to pull off sunny beaming. Anyway, I guess I'll just go back to Blaziken as my choice bander.
I guess he is.but it would be great in the BL tier although alakazam outspeeds him.Oh, and blaziken needs as much speed as possible or else he would also be as useless as magmortar.
