I have played about every pokemon game. I own yellow, silver, gold, crystal, ruby, and diamond. My brother owns red, ruby, sapphire, emerald, and Pearl, together, we have every game except blue.
The type of teams I really like are dragon ones, since the only weakness to dragon is dragon. So it is my idea that an ultimate pokemon team would be made from:
Gyrados: Mostly because of all the types, I mean, Gyrados can learn like all the basic powerful attacks, so he would be useful against a couple types of pokemon.
Dragonite: He is pretty strong, and is a basic dragon, so he would be a natural part of a dragon team.
Salamance: Salamance is a lot like Dragonite, but he is still good, and is more useful to teach fly then Dragonite is.
Garchomp: He is okay, and is useful.
Tyranitar: Tyranitar can learn some really good moves, and he has to be a really high level to evolve, so when you finally get him, he is all ready for battle.
Miiltoc: Miltoc is kind of a dragon, though it isn't a dragon type. This makes it much more vunerable then a dragon but is still really strong.
Or, instead of a Miltoc, you could have a SPIRITOMB: I know that he's not even remotely close to a dragon, but what the heck, he is one of the best pokemon, any good team should have spiritomb. The reason he is so awesome is because, not only is he a strong pokemon that can get strong attacks. As a bonus to that nothing is super effective against him. NOTHING!!! Also, Spiritomb is immune (Meaning that the attacks have no effect against him) to Psychic, Normal, and fighting attacks. This means, that he is powerful, and the only way to bring him down is bit by bit. The only downside is he's really hard to get. Unless you have an action replay with the Pokemon modifier code. I've caught him both ways.
