Storyline dont count, because pokemon has no storyline. Defeating Team (Insert) and becoming a master is no storyline anymore, and btw 5 new Pokemon or a whole game with different stuff? Oh well different strokes for different folks.

They are all good fun, but Raving Rabids is just hilarious. A lot better on Wii though.
Guitar Hero On Tour for if you like Guitar Hero
(Beware, scratches your screen like crazy but good for the roads when you want to here music while playing XD)
I have to say Pokemon Daimond/Pearl their the first rtainer games for the DS and it's pretty awesome because it's 3D and the daytime nighttime feature is featured again and pokemon from other regions have evolutions and pre evolutions
For me, any of the Harvest Moon games. I enjoy having cows.
Also, PKMN Diamond.
And Nintendogs. I like dogs.

My favourites:
1) FF4 - completed and is thoroughly AWESOME!
2) The World Ends With You - fantastic graphics, fight scenes and soundtrack
3) Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow - ......... I have a thing with vampires ^.^ and the bosses are great
4) LOZ: PH - great game, but VERY easy to beat... even though I'm ashamed to admit that the bit where you have to close your DS had me stuck for about 20 mins >.>
5) Izuna Legend of the Unemployed Ninja 1 & 2 - just plain fun and some of the one-liners are priceless
6) Etrian Odyssey - takes ages to beat so this is one of the few games I can't beat in a few days of starting it
= ME VERY HAPPY!
7) FF3 - I liked that you can change your profession, can't do that with other FF games I've played
8) Mario Kart DS - only fun if you can wifi, otherwise is easy for me
9) The Pheonix Wright series - just a laugh really
10) Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime - a great laugh
11) Trauma Centre 1&2 - good but I find some of the operations too challenging
12) Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadour - loved this game
13) Animal Crossing - takes FOREVER! and paying rent on that house got very frustrating, I now have cockroaches and a million and one weeds
