personally i would go with #1 also...that one has more uses

What is the 8 in? Is it sp def? If it is then take #1 and give the second one to me.

LOLZ! Actually they are both good. The first one is much more useful though. Only for the fact that attack you won't need but you'll need sp atk and sp def. You wouldn't need def at all really. Though you could train either one. Just give me the one you won't use.
