I have a couple questions:
1. What are IV's?
2. How can you get a Pokemon a certain breed?
Also, if anyone can give me any helpful tips on breeding, this would be great!!

well first IV's are the Individual stats which determine what its max stat is. the most IV's you can get are 31. For example if you had an newborn piplup with 6 in every stat then it has perfect IV's, if you were to breed that Piplup with one with 5 in every stat then the chances are that it wil either have perfect IV's again or have maybe 35 in three stats or 6 in three stats.
if you breed a male psyduck with a female buizel the offspring would be a buizel. The offspring will always be whatever pokemon the female was.

i meant how can you get a pokemon to a certain nature?
just keep breeding them or if u have a modest ditto and u want a modest lucario giv ditto a everstone and it will be 50% to be that nature

or do they just make the pokemon stronger?
They make a pokemon stronger.The higher the IV's the stronger the pokemon is when it's level 100.If you have two salamences that both used dragon claw, the one with the higher attack IV's will deal the most damage.
