This Tournament is a replica of the infamous "JAA", Journey Across America Tour for the 10th Anniversary of Pokémon.
I've decided to pretty much stick to Nintendo's "standard" rules, which means Ubers are allowed, and we don't use full teams of six. We're using teams of four, and the battles can be contested under Single or Double Battle rules.
I'll be looking for 32 or 64 players (will settle for 48), and the Tournament will be Single Elimination. So once you're out, you're out.
Rules
* The following Pokemon are banned: Shaymin & Arceus (all types).
* Battles can be contested under the "Single Battle or Double Battle, Level 100 Rules" Each player using 4 Pokémon. However, both players must agree to a Double Battle match, if one player wants to play Singles and the other Doubles, then the match will be a Single Battle.
* Battles can be contested on Pokémon Battle Revolution or Pokémon Diamond & Pearl via Wi-Fi.
* Self KO Clause is in effect (If you use Explosion/Self Destruct, Perish Song, Destiny Bond etc as your final move to make the match end in a draw, you lose).
* Species Clause (You may only use one of the same Pokémon per team, eg. Only 1 Charizard, but you may use a Charmander and/or Charmeleon too).
* Please refrain from using Hacked/Sharked Pokémon, this rule shouldn't even need to be stated. It spoils all the fun. If you have ever plugged your game into a Cheat Pak at any time, I strongly suggest that you do not enter this tournament.
* Disconnections will most likely count as a Loss, unless your opponent agrees to a rematch if the connection was at fault. If there was no clear winner, the match is likely to be replayed.
* Item Clause is in full effect! You can only use two of each Item!
*Note - Darkrai is allowed, but I will be checking it for legitimacy if you choose to use one.
*Note - You can only use one form of Deoxys on your team.
I have not yet decided what the prizes are.
