I borrow battle for middle earth 2:Collector's Edition. off of a mate but it does not work on my laptop. Why???

Minimum Specs: My Specs:
OS: XP Vista
Processor: 1.6GHz 2.2Ghz
Memory:256Ram 2048Ram
CD-DVD Speed: 8Speed 8 Speed DVD.
Video Card:64Mb 128Mb

As you can see I have the right specs but it still does not work. Help me. The Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1520 by the way.

Laptop's video card memory are most of the time, shared with the ram. Meaning they're insufficient for running games.

Just because your video card may say 64MB or 128MB, it may not be able to support the game. Laptops in general just aren't meant to run any modern games very well.

But I also see that you're using Vista - Vista being new, doesn't mean it's better.
It's still a very unstable Operating System right now. There's a lot of incompatible software.

To better troubleshoot the issue, we'd need more details.
Like, how does it not work?
Does the application not launch when you attempt to run it? Were there any error messages?

It doesn't matter know I gave it back to my friend. but I loaded it up and it'll go to the pre-loading loading screen then it'll stop loading and won't respond.
