Basically you move into a new town (Which you can name) and you live your life collecting items, meeting friends (animals), and repaying Town Nook for your House.
There are a variety of furniture for you to collect for your house, as well as the option to make it bigger or add rooms to it.
Wifi is actually pretty fun, as well. You can travel over to other people's towns and interact with the residents. However, when friends in your town want you to go get something for them, they'll occasionally ask to get the item from a person in a different town, which is slightly troublesome.
None the less, this is a great game. Fun for years. However, the time in the game passes as the time in the real world, so if you don't show up for months at a time, your neighbors will recognize this.

If you are not able to access your DS everyday and do not want to have to put half an hours work every day making your village great and pleasing residents then I would not buy this.
