ok i just recintly just evolved my shiny bronzor i need a good move set for him and if the ability heat proof is a good ability
here is my thought of move set
gyro ball
earthquake/ stone edge
grass knot/ energy ball
psychic/ calm mind
Heres a trick room set.
Hypnosis
Stealth Rock
Trick Room
Gyro Ball/Explosion.
that trick room set only works if you have a slow pokemon to switch to.
oh keep gyro ball (its its signature move)
calm mind is good to keep, nothing wrong with bolstering special D. gyro ball works eq is good too but grass knot is a bit more techy
you should definately use a Bronzong with Levitate and not Heatproof. They both offer protection against one of it's two resistances but Levitate offer immunity where as Heatproof only make Bronzong take neutral damage from fire. Additionally, Levitate offer imminity to Spikes aswell, which can hurt Bronzong quite a bit as it'll often switch in and out alot to absorb attacks.
And if you have a pokemon on your team who's weak to earth, you can use Bronzong to completely negate the damage by switching. The same can't be done with fire attacks and Heatproof.
I use a Bronzong on my Trick Room team. It look like this:
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Relaxed Nature (+ Defence, - Speed)
EVs: 255 in HP, ~125 in Def and ~125 in SpD
Gyro Ball (main source of damage)
Earthquake (to take out any fire type pokemon trying to counter me)
Hypnosis (great support move)
Trick Room (obvious since it's a Trick Room team, makes Bronzong attack before most others)
Bronzong has very good defenses so you may want to consider a move that slows down its speed like curse so try this moveset. This is in my own opinion
Gyro Ball
Curse
Extrasensory
Hypnosis

NOTE: include this move into your moveset if your Bronzong doesn't have the Levitate Ability.

You're right, Bronzong can't learn Curse...
