This glitch still works fine. I've used this method to evolve and obtain countless Pokemon: Rhydon to Rhyperior, Dusclops to Dusknoir, Porygon to Porygon2, and then Porygon2 to Porygon Z, Haunter to Gengar, Gligar to Gliscor...the list goes on and on. This glitch has gotten me many hard-to-find Pokemon. Thanks! ^_^
i should try this out when i need to evolve my pokemon next time.

You don't need trading to evolve Gligar. And yes, this glitch works! My only problem is actually looking for someone to trade with.
So, it allows for the evolve and stuffs, but does it give the bonus exp or would you need a full out trade for that still?? :/
