So, I just downloaded the single player demo for Crysis, and I was just blown away.
My PC can't play it at the top level graphics, but boy, it was still quality graphics, moving plants, each one destructable and with awesome shadows, good amazing AI , excellent cutscenes, great gameplay and more, it just ticks all the boxes. It's like a cross between Halo 3 and Bioshock, each had their slight flaws, but IMO Crysis strikes exactly the right balance between the two.
This is defeinitely something I will be saving up for. Check out the demo, you won't be dissapointed.
i did not hear good things about this game(frame rate slowing due to graphics, glitches, etc.)
Well, a lot of people are having trouble running it at a decent fps, but that's not really the games fault. The glitches you have to understand, this is essentially a beta release, to get opinions etc on the various glitches. I would hope, that when the game is released, the glitches would be ironed out. Personall, I haven't had any problems with glitches, except for a few laggy moments in the midddle of firefights. The onl other con is that the file is like, 1.7GB, and took an absolute age to download...
The game is pure genius. My video card cant handle so I had to play the demo over at my uncles house. Im asking for a bigger hardrive on my birthday and am probably going to buy the PNY XLR8 GEFORCE 8800 Gt Videocard and the game with the money I recieve from relatives, friends, strangers, ect.
wow. when i hung out with prideless the other day, he showed me how insane the game is on his comp. his comp can only handle it with low settings and he has a 6600. i was hoping to play all these new pc games in my new laptop like call of duty and crap. my laptop has a geforce 7150M video card, though i found out its integrated -__-. i was so proud of my laptop, only to find out that the graphics card is worse than a 6600 -__-.
but yeah, hopefully within the future i might get a custom made desktop with an 8800.
I have the 8800 on my PC (it's the families but I'm the only one who uses it, they all use the other one as there is a more comfy chair

) but I have some craptastic like 256 mb integrated no brand card on my laptop, which sucks.....
Oh, and Switchblade, lol, you recieve money from strangers

If I had the PC to play it, I'd play it. I've heard nothing but good things about the game. Problem is, I don't have $8000 to shell out to be able to play the game on maximum settings (2x SLI 8800s w/ 3GB RAM and high-end dual core processors).
I've heard its brilliant but most computers just can't handle it, especially not mine...

But it seems like a brilliant game and in some game magazines they reckons its the new Halo..

If I had the computer to play this I'd be right in there
